PRICING AND FUNDING
From September, we’re continuing to offer the 15 or 30 hours of free childcare under the Government’s funded hours scheme.
This funding is provided to cover the cost of early education and care only. It must be completely free to parents, with no mandatory charges for the funded hours.
However, please note that Government funding does not cover the cost of:
- Meals
- Nappies & Wipes
- Extra activities and enrichment experiences
To help us continue delivering high-quality care, we are introducing an optional daily contribution. This is broken down as £1 per day for food and £1 per day towards nappies, wipes and creams. Both elements are entirely optional and only apply on the days your child attends, giving you flexibility while helping us maintain the standards and resources that support your child’s care.
Prefer not to pay this? That’s absolutely fine!
You’re welcome to opt out of this charge by supplying your child with:
- A healthy packed lunch
- Two healthy snacks
- Breakfast
- Tea
- Any required nappies/wipes
Your child’s access to the free funded hours will not be affected, no matter which option you choose.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss your preferences, please speak to a member of the team. We’re here to help!
